Vax-In-Action: Final Drawing!
Thank you to all who encouraged staff to get vaccinated and register for our Vax-In-Action incentive program! Over the last five months, nearly 1,200 eligible Community Action staff entered to win!

The final drawing is on January 3rd. CAA staff is only eligible for one drawing based on the date of the last shot received.

2022 Winter Legislative Conference Details:
  • The 2022 Winter Legislative Conference will be held as a hybrid event.
  • OACAA Member CEOs, limited sponsors, and staff will be welcomed at the Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, for socially distanced in-person speakers and meetings.
  • Virtual attendees will be able to join the live streamed sessions on Wednesday and participate in a series of virtual workshops on Thursday, January 27, and Friday, January 28.

Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine Visits Lifeline, Inc.
Lifeline Head Start children received a special visit and book reading by Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine this month!

Lifeline associates posted the special event on Facebook, saying the agency "is excited to be Lake County’s Imagination Library affiliate, providing books to over 4,000 kids each month!"

"Reindeer Games" coming to Piketon

The Community Action Committee of Pike County will be hosting the “Reindeer Games” event on Wednesday, Dec. 15 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Pike County Fairgrounds’ Multipurpose Building at 311 Mill St. in Piketon.

“The Holiday Season has always been that time of year when people are filled with happiness and nostalgia,” stated Keith Pitts, Executive Director of the Community Action Committee of Pike County. “And what better way to celebrate that than to bring Santa and his reindeer to our community as a symbol of joy and the holiday spirit.”

CIRCLEVILLE — Pickaway County government office employees have once again come together to make a large donation to Pickaway County Community Action’s Toys for Tots program.

Becky Hammond, PICCA Executive Director, said about 500 children had been signed up for the program, which is on pace in recent years.

“There will be a crunch as we get closer to the end,” Hammond said.
