Early Bird Rate Ending: 2022 Annual Summer Conference
The Early Bird rate ends this Friday, July 1.

Conference details:
  • The conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus
  • Session topics include cyber money and security, working with media to strengthen coverage, and a fiscal panel with agency CEO and CFOs.
  • Following the last session on Wednesday, there will be a Paint n' Sip Networking event. A separate registration must be made in advance
  • Register HERE for this event

Registration Open: RPIC Region V Regional Convening
This event will showcase innovative, best practices from peer agencies in the region. Community Action staff are welcome to attend this free virtual event on Friday, August 5 from 9:00 - 3:00 EST.

Lifeline Hosts a Night at the Ballpark to Benefit Lake County’s Imagination Library

Last Friday, June 17, Lifeline, Inc. staff, board members, and supporters gathered at Classic Park to raise proceeds for the Lake County Imagination Library Program--an affiliate of the Ohio Governor's Imagination Library. Ohio Governor and First Lady DeWine attended as special guests.

Lifeline, Inc took to Facebook to thank all who attended and showed their support:

"We had an amazing night at the Lake County Lake County Captains game last Friday night! Thank you to all who joined us in supporting our Lake County Imagination Library! A special thank you to the Mentor Rotary Club for their support! We were particularly honored to welcome Governor and Mrs. Fran DeWine and the team from the Ohio Governor's Imagination Library at the game!"

PIKETON — The Workforce & Business Development Program (W&B) at Community Action Committee of Pike County will be offering a no-cost workshop, REINVENTING RECRUITING: Attracting Talent & Effective Interviewing on Wednesday, June 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the agency’s main location at941 Market St. in Piketon.

This workshop will cover the process of evaluating your current recruiting strategies and provide guidance with making the changes needed to accommodate the new standards and trends of recruiting employees.
