The Community Action Agency Network is made up of more than 1,100 local, private, non-profit and public agencies, created through the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964.
Ohio is made up of 48 agencies serving all 88 counties in the state.

LCCAA to operate Henderson Bridge shuttle
Walkers will get help getting across Lorain's Lofton Henderson Memorial Bridge, which is under construction now.
The Lorain County Community Action Agency will start a free shuttle service from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, starting May 19.
"We figured out how to do this on $400 a day," said Jackie Boehnlein, CEO of the Community Action Agency. "Once we knew we could make it work, getting financial support just seemed to come together."...Read more
