LACCA officially changes names to West Ohio Community Action Partnership (video)
ALLEN, MERCER AUGLAIZE COUNTIES -  The Lima Allen Council on Community Affairs takes a new name to better represent all the areas they serve.

LACCA has changed their new name to the West Ohio Community Action Partnership, or West Ohio CAP for short. Wednesday they unveiled their new name at their Celina location .. Read more
LCCAA to operate Henderson Bridge shuttle
Walkers will get help getting across Lorain's Lofton Henderson Memorial Bridge, which is under construction now.  The Lorain County Community Action Agency will start a free shuttle service from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, starting May 19.

"We figured out how to do this on $400 a day," said Jackie Boehnlein, CEO of the Community Action Agency. "Once we knew we could make it work, getting financial support just seemed to come together."  ...   Read more
MEOAG having scholarship fund golf outing
ZANESVILLE - The Muskingum Economic Opportunity Action Group will have a golf fundraiser May 27 at Eagle Sticks Golf Club. Lunch will be at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon.
