Bike Shop assembling fleet ready for the street

Student workers at LCCAA trained during the summer and are assembling a fleet of two-wheelers ready for the streets. “They are working their way through understanding how to run the shop,” said Ed Stewart, master mechanic.

Impact Community Action's emergency-assistance department would provide rental or mortgage help, Favor said. Impact serves more than 20,000 families and individuals who are at or below 200% of the federal poverty level by providing such emergency assistance as household items, burial support, rent/mortgage, transportation, water- and energy-program assistance and food giveaways. >>> READ MORE
CAA of Columbiana County awarded grant to expand oral health services

The US Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, announced this month twelve awards in Ohio to health centers to expand access to oral health services in their community. Among the grantees is Community Action Agency of Columbiana County who were awarded $300,000 .
