COVID-19 Advisory Statement
Ingen Software is taking the following steps to ensure that our team is healthy and safe as we continue to support our customers:

• We have issued reminders about recommended hygiene procedures
• We have stressed the importance of staying home should someone feel unwell or exhibit symptoms
• We are limiting travel in order to protect our team members and our customers
• We are instituting our work-from-home procedures

Remote Access to OASIS
The recent COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way many of us work. Working remotely has suddenly become the new “norm”.
Accessing your OASIS database remotely can be done, but has to be planned and implemented by your IT department.
Possible ways to work remotely include:
  • Setting up a VPN
  • RDP (Remote Desktop)
  • Terminal Services/Citrix environments

Note that OASIS O4 and OASIS Cloud Hosting can help your team access your database remotely, but will require roughly 2-3 weeks to be set up Please contact us if you have questions.
Check Your Hard Drive Space!
In the midst of all the craziness going on, don't let your database crash too.

Check your hard drive space on the machine that holds your OASIS Database (oasis.db)
Make sure you have adequate space for the year!
We get at least one call a month from a group who ran out of space and OASIS stopped!
You have a large job, important job, on a deadline, email, print or save and it stops! No room!
Don’t let this happen to you!
Make sure to check regularly!
Desktop Scaling
We have noticed that windows desktop scaling has been causing visual issues in OASIS and has been affecting PDF prints. You need to open your windows display settings and make sure it is set to 100% to get the correct PDF prints.
Archive Tool Updated
In our next monthly release the archive tool will be updated. In the previous releases using the archive tool wasn't actually removing the transaction from the database. Any archive that was ran before the next update will need to be reran.
A note to IT/ 3rd Party/ CRM Developers
We are often asked to connect OASIS or export OASIS data to other software. We have recently created a standard method using our API and JSON calls.
Please get in touch with OASIS Support for our current documentation. Any meetings, consultations, and support are limited and must be scheduled in advance and quoted.

Monthly Maintenance
Ingen Software has monthly planned maintenance windows. These take place on the Saturday after the monthly production release, which is generally the first Tuesday of the month, during the hours of 10:00 AM Central through 8:00 PM Central. During these maintenance windows, operating system updates and patches will be applied to our Windows and Red Hat Linux servers, firewalls, and switches as necessary. Therapeutic reboots of virtualization hosts may also be performed. Temporary outages can be expected during these planned maintenance windows. 

This month's maintenance window was Saturday, March 7, 2020. 

Next planned maintenance windows: 4/11/2020, 5/9/2020, 6/6/2020, 7/11/2020, 8/8/2020, 9/5/2020, 10/10/2020, 11/7/2020, 12/5/2020. 

These dates may be subject to change.

Win / Loss Tile Update
The Win / Loss Tile page has been updated to know show pie charts with count, percentages, and amounts for quote statuses. This will allow you to streamline the process of checking your quote statuses.
