After the joy of celebrating Eid-ul-Adha last month, we hope to extend that happiness a little longer with exciting news from the camps and the great accomplishments of the people we serve. The resilience of these families, through the hardship of camp life and the added stressors of the pandemic, is truly inspirational.

Recently, Mr. Iqbal initiated a new project to train the youth in Bogra Camp in computer skills.
Web Design Course Creates Opportunities for Learning New Skills

28 young men and women started an online web design course in partnership with AWKW Foundation.
Tutoring Centers Conduct Online Classes

OBAT’s Schools have been closed to protect the students and staff during the pandemic. About 200 students can learn from home as well and are able to continue their studies without significant interruptions.
Photo competition Reveals Budding Talent

The theme of the competition was, “life in the camps.” The competition was judged by Zachary Rockwood, a documentary filmmaker and cinematographer from LA who has visited the camps twice.
Think Tank Distributes Food Among Flood Victims

Volunteers helped about 300 families, a great acknowledgement to their effort as it was their first experience in initiating an emergency response.
Infant Kits Ready for Distribution

Bee Humble gave 25 kits containing items such as baby clothes, mattresses, mosquito nets etc. This is also empowering Rohingya refugees as the bamboo cases for the cribs and all sewing work are made by the refugees trained at the OBAT’s Center.
