You are invited to drop in, via Zoom (Meeting ID 713 378 3329) , from 9AM until 9:30AM to chat with our ministers. This is designed to be an informal time to catch up with one another, and share joys and concerns.
To join these Zoom conversations, from a computer or tablet use Meeting ID: 713 378 3329. From a phone dial 1-929-205-6099 to join by audio only. If you use the telephone number you will be prompted to enter the meeting ID.

Throughout the summer we will announce numbers from our BINGO board, along with more details about the mission/outreach activity to complete. As you complete the activity, mark off the board number. Remember to post pictures on social media, tag us and include #growingatobc in the caption.

Between today and next Thursday complete I8 and O20 on your BINGO board. To complete I8 take a walk around your neighborhood, or a park and pick up any litter you find. To complete O20 come up with a special way to say thank you to a restaurant worker. Perhaps take a thank you note and gift card with you when you pick up food from your favorite restaurant.

Faith & Health

Faith and Health York County seeks to keep residents and faith communities remain healthy and informed. This week they reminded us of the increasing number of individuals in York County who are testing positive for COVID-19, as well as the increasing number of people requiring hospitalization. Click the button below to view a helpful infographic they shared. Let's all do our part to keep ourselves and our neighbors safe.
A Celebration for Jim Wright
June 28, 2PM-3PM

Jim Wright will be 90 years young on Sunday, June 28th. Due to the Corona virus, we can not have the large celebration we were hoping to have. So instead, we are inviting Jim's many Oakland friends to honor him with a "drive-by" birthday celebration.

Jim will be seated comfortably outside his home (1661 Estes Drive). Come by in your car to wish him a happy birthday. Feel free to come with a sign, streamers, balloons, or just a hearty wave, smile, and car horn greeting. It will mean so much to our Dad and Joyce. No gifts please, just happy faces!

Thank You! ~Linda W. Ackerman, Kathy Wright, and Cynde W. Marshall (Jim's Daughters)
We Are Here For You!

If you need to speak with someone, please reach out to a minister or your deacon. Also, you can still use the minister on call number (803-328-3864, Ext. 0). We are here to listen and help in ways that we are able.

For those in need of grocery assistance, we have set up a delivery system. We understand that elderly and vulnerable individuals may not feel comfortable venturing to the store. Please let the church office know if you are in need and would like groceries delivered to your home.

We invite you to help share our story this year by posting pictures from events (Sunday School, Worship, Bible Study, Meals and more) and including in your caption #growingatobc. We would also love for you to tag us on Facebook and Instagram @obcrockhill when you post pictures from OBC.
Thank you for helping us be the presence of Christ at the crossroads of life through your financial contributions. Click the button to give online.  You will be directed to a secure link which allows you to use your debit or credit card to make online contributions.
