Early Worship in the Sanctuary
June 23 at 8:45AM

This week early worship will take place in the Sanctuary because the gym will already be set up for a week of ROARing fun at VBS.
VBS is next week! Beginning Monday morning OBC will be ROARing with 150 children and volunteers. Please remember this special week and all its participants and leaders in your prayers.
On Sunday we will consider how we are called to live a life of stewardship. We encourage you to use this Sunday as an opportunity to catch up on your tithes and even consider an additional gift. It is your faithful stewardship that allows the mission and ministry of Oakland Baptist Church to continue to grow.
Contributing to God’s work at Oakland is very simple and we have multiple options for you to choose from:

•  Offering Plate : Place your offering envelope in the offering plate during either worship service. Offering envelopes can be mailed to your home or found in the pew racks in the sanctuary, as well as on the welcome table in the gym.
•  Online Giving : Click on the "Donate to OBC" button below to donate via credit card. You may make a one time donation or set up a recurring donation. You may also donate online by clicking here.
Text Giving : Text “OBC” to 73256. You will receive an immediate reply. Click the link in the reply to set up text giving.
•  US Mail:  Mail a check to the church address—1067 Oakland Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
•  Online Bill Pay through your Bank:  Set up a recurring check payment to the church for the weekly or monthly amount of your gift.
•  Bank Draft:  Fill out a planning card (located in the church office) and attach a voided check. Choose to have your account drafted on the 1st or 15th of each month. Drafting your bank account is one of the most inexpensive ways to give (no fees), is efficient in regards to book keeping, and provides consistent income for the entire year which helps us in planning programs, ministries, and missions.

New Church Directory

Exciting new things are coming your way this summer! We will soon have a new, much more functional app that will allow you to look up people's contact information, find out about events, download forms and so much more! In order for the contact section of our app to be up to date, we need new pictures! And as an added bonus we will get a new directory (digital and print versions will be available) which will help us all put names to the friendly faces we pass in the hallways.

We invite, encourage, NEED you to come have your picture taken. Don’t worry, there will be no high pressure sales at the end of the photography session! You will receive a free 8x10 photograph. While you are at church having your picture taken we will also connect you to our new app and make sure all of your contact information is up to date.

Click below to sign up for one of the photography sessions.
After you click on the link, enter sc190 as the church code and obc as the password. You can then click on the date you would prefer which will open a page with all of the time slots. Click the paper/pencil icon to the right of the time slot you are signing up for.
