Welcome, Gary and Janice Bodford

On Sunday we had the joy of welcoming Gary and Janice Bodford into the fellowship of Oakland Baptist Church. Gary and Janice moved to Rock Hill in March, just before we had to stop worshipping in-person. They are enjoying retirement and being close to their children and grandchildren. Gary and Janice have heard about the kind and welcoming spirit of OBC and look forward to experiencing it once we move beyond this pandemic. In the meantime, send a card or email to welcome them.

Their address is 308 Hardington Court, Rock Hill, SC 29730 and their email addresses are /
We Need a Little Peace

Sunday begins the second week of Advent and we look forward to worshipping with you, either in-person or online, as we consider the peace this season provides. In addition to worship, you will find activities in your Advent bag that will help you focus your heart on peace.

If you plan to worship with us in-person on Sunday, PLEASE click the button below to sign-up. As you sign-up, please consider attending the 8:30AM service, if you are able, so we can balance the number of people attending each service.
We recognize that many of you will continue worshipping with us online. Click the button below for information about accessing worship on YouTube. CLICK HERE to view instructions for watching worship online.
Advent Bags

It's time to open up your Advent bags! If you haven't received one, stop by the office between 8AM and 3PM Monday through Friday to pick one up (we have age appropriate bags for children, youth, and adults!). If you aren't able to stop by, call the office and we will safely deliver one to your door.

Click the button below to view a digital copy of the Advent Booklet that is included in the bag. On page 3 you will find a calendar detailing all of our Advent opportunities.

Please record with your phone flipped horizontally. Or if you would prefer, a festive photo works, also!

Please send to Leigh by text or email ( ASAP to be included in this fun project!
