Celebrating the Success of
BioSeed® 2020
BioSeed 2020
, which was sold out months in advance, was a huge success, and included a packed schedule of quickfire 5-minute presentations from 46 early stage life sciences companies, who showcased a range of new technologies and treatments in front of an attentive audience of over 100 investors. During the afternoon there was over 300 partnering meetings, an Investor Q&A session and a vibrant evening drinks reception.
John Harris
, CEO of OBN said,
“
The quality, breadth, and innovative nature of the company presentations (from across Europe) was highly impressive, pitched to an extensive, relevant and high-quality investor audience. An intense but fascinating day!
Undoubtedly, BioSeed is now established as the premier UK-based event for early stage funding, genuinely meeting the needs of companies seeking growth capital and investors seeking access to exciting new investable opportunities."
If you missed out this time, we will be running
BioSeed
in 2021 so please keep an eye on

Who is in the OBN Spotlight this month....
Sarah Walker, our Senior Events Manager, has kindly shared her story with us this month...."I’ve been at OBN for just over three years now, before joining OBN I worked for Innovate UK within their events team for almost 7 years.
At OBN I look after BioLearn – OBN’s growing portfolio of training courses. I also help to organise the annual BioSeed event – I love working with companies and helping them through their funding journey! You will also see me at our regular BioTuesday and SEBC events.
My spare time is mostly spent underwater! Preferably in warmer climes but also wreck diving on the UK Coast or in the extremely chilly UK quarries. If I am not diving, I’m exploring off exploring the UK with my partner in our camper with our two 5-year old rescue Bichons, Mushy and JJ (we didn’t name them!)".
