This Week's Sermon

March 14, 2021. John 3:1-17: Jesus has a conversation with Nicodemus, one of the Pharisees, who is interested in Jesus’ teachings. In response to Nicodemus’ questions, we hear one of the most beloved and familiar verses in the entire Bible. Jesus tells us, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.” We will discuss this amazing and wonderful Good News!
Easter Lilies

If you would like to honor or remember a loved one with Easter lilies this year, envelopes are available in the Gathering Space, or you may call the office to place your order. The cost of the lilies is $10.00 each and orders must be received by Sunday, March 21st.
Palm Sunday

The Worship Committee is proud to announce that OBPC will be using Eco-Palms on Palm Sunday, March 28, at our 10:00 a.m. worship service. You may learn more about Eco-Palms at If you are not able to be with us for the service, the palms will be at the front door of the church for you to take. Please register for the service online.

Because the number of people attending church is still limited, please call or email Cathie in the office at or 252-441-5897 if you would like to sign up for flowers on a specific Sunday. Thank you!
