Hello Members,

This is a member update on some timely topics related to our club.

League Fees

Due to no one knowing when guidelines will be eased, Great Park has cancelled the spring season we were registered for and applied your payment as a credit on account. You are welcome to leave the account credit on your Dash account for when curling returns. Or if you would like to request a refund, email refund manager Emily at etaylor@therinks.com. Emily will confirm your request, and once verified she will approve the refund. All refunds will come in check form as any credit card used to pay has been erased from our system for security reasons.

Annual Meeting

Given how long we have been away from curling, and given that no one knows when we will be able to return to the ice, we have decided to go ahead set a firm date for an Annual Meeting and Board Election. This meeting will take place whether we have returned to curling or not. We will determine at a later date, based on safety considerations at the time, whether to hold the meeting in person or by Zoom meeting. Because elections did not happen this past spring, all five Board positions will be up for election. Two positions will be for a one year term, and three positions will be for a two year term. An Election Secretary will be nominated and nominations opened closer to the time.

The meeting will take place on March 20th at 4pm. Details to follow.

Annual Memberships, USCA, MOPAC

We are working on an update relating to your club, USCA, And MOPAC memberships. Look for it next month.
