We hope everyone enjoyed the first half of the Fall 2023 semester!

In this month's podcast episode with guest Professor Shauna Downs, we are highlighting the intersection of health, climate change, and food justice. If you are interested in a career pursuing solutions to these challenges and more, we encourage you to check out our Guide to Careers in Sustainability below and join us in February for the Green Jobs Fair.

This month is also Native American Heritage Month in the U.S. Year-round, Indigenous communities here and around the world are bearing disproportionate impacts of climate change, while protecting over 80% of the world's remaining biodiversity. Despite multi-billion dollar promises of funding to protect Indigenous people’s rights and lands, only 17% of the funds have gone to projects led by Indigenous people. To make a difference locally, you can support the environmental justice and food sovereignty work of the Ramapough Culture and Land Foundation.
