OCA's ARPA Update (Week of June 1st)
Since the signing of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) on March 11, 2021, OCA has provided our clients with weekly ARPA Subsidy updates. While we will continue to provide tools to help navigate through ARPA, OCA's weekly ARPA updates will be limited to “as needed” communications. OCA remains committed to always being transparent and helping our clients and partners. Below, please find our latest ARPA update pertaining to the final steps for an Assistance Eligible Individual (AEI) to receive the ARPA subsidy.
AEI Final Approval Steps
Now that OCA has mailed out the required ARPA Notices, we have started to receive the AEIs Subsidy Attestation Form. OCA will now begin emailing the employer contact(s) the AEI completed Attestation Form along with confirmation that the AEI is in fact eligible for the subsidy.
OCA’s employer subsidy confirmation email will be specific to each AEI and reflect one of the three (3) AEI statuses listed below.
In any of the above scenarios, if the employer feels the individual is not qualified for the subsidy, employers will be required to complete OCA’s “ARPA Subsidy Denial/Approval Form.” OCA will then inform the individual that the subsidy request has been denied.
We thank you for your continued involvement and support in working with us during this final step in implementing ARPA.
