Comments Sought-New Proposal (CACI-23)
A new proposal (CACI23-01) has been posted to the California Courts website (click here).

The Advisory Committee on Civil Jury Instructions has approved for posting for public comment proposed revisions and new instructions. The committee is very interested in your input. Only these currently proposed changes and additions are being submitted for comment at this time. We will gladly accept other comments, but the committee will not be able to consider them until the next release cycle.

OCSC Court Notices

The Superior Court of California, County of Orange, adopted new and revised local rules. A majority of the judges approved the rules in October. (Code Civ. Proc., § 575.1.) The rules became effective Jan. 1, 2023.
Rule 375 – Remote and In-Person Proceedings for Civil (Revised)
Rule 704 – Ex Parte Matters (Revised)
Rule 720 – Filing and Establishment of Parent-Child Relationship Pursuant to a Gestational Surrogacy (New)
Rule 721 – Appointment of Elisor (New)
