Newly Adopted/Amended Rules- Effective September 1, 2022 (pdf) On May 12, 2022, by way of circulating order, the Judicial Council made changes to the California Rules of Court, with the effective date of September 1, 2022. The changes are shown in strikeouts and underlining in the PDF.

The State Bar of California

The State Bar Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct is circulating Proposed Formal Opinion Interim No. 19-0004 (Client File Release and Retention Duties) for a 60-day public comment period. The 60-day public comment period ends October 11, 2022
