USAO Central District of California, Santa Ana Branch Seeks Assistant United States Attorneys 
The United States Attorney's Office is interviewing for three AUSA in the Santa Ana Branch Office, Criminal Division. AUSAs in the Criminal Division advise federal law enforcement agents on criminal investigations, present criminal cases to the grand jury, and try criminal cases before the United States District Court. AUSAs new to the Criminal Division, including those hired for the Riverside and Santa Ana branch offices, are initially assigned to the General Crimes Section in Los Angeles, where they receive training in the handling of federal criminal investigations and prosecutions. Upon completion of their tenure in the General Crimes Section, AUSAs hired for the branch offices are assigned there, and AUSAs remaining in Los Angeles are assigned to one of the Criminal Division's senior sections. 2019 Employment Practices Liability Program Defense Panel Recruitment for University of California
The University of California Office of the General Counsel in partnership with the Office of Risk Services, Employment Liability Practices Program is conducting a Request for Proposals to select a limited number of preferred outside law firms to represent The University and its employees in employment related claims and/or lawsuits. Employment related claims exposure is covered by the University's General Liability Self-Insurance Program and generally includes claims of wrongful termination, unlawful discrimination, harassment and retaliation arising out of employment with the University. Labor disputes, union grievances, and arbitrations are not covered by University's Employment Liability Practices Program; as such, this type of work is not part of the work ordinarily performed by panel counsel.  

The purpose of this recruitment is to secure high-quality, cost-effective legal services from qualified law firms and attorneys who would be available for retention and assignment for individual claims and legal actions at the University's ten campuses and five medical centers statewide. The PLC staff can answer any questions you may have related to your case to support you in your pro bono representation; locate a mentor to help you; supply you with samples and manuals (some case types excluded); provide translation support in Spanish and Vietnamese; and arrange for office space for you to meet with your client at PLC.
