The price will be approximately $2300 (plus tax & additional travel fees - approx. $400) per person based on double occupancy and includes airfare from LAX, transfers to and from Hotel, 4 nights accommodation in standard room and daily breakfast. (CLE fees are separate.)

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Seminar and advertised approximate pricing noted is based on a minimum of 12 individuals attending.

The Public Law Center's South East Asian Legal Outreach Program (SEALOP) provides free civil legal assistance at the BPSOS Center for Community Advancement, Inc., 13950 Milton Ave. Suite 301, Westminster, CA 92683.    
Clinics take place on the second Saturday of every month from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.

The 2nd Annual Solo & Small Firm Academy of the Whittier Law School Alumni Association will take place on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Whittier Law School. The event focuses on tips, tricks, and tools for solo and small firm attorneys with a goal to leave the day with practices that can be implemented in your practice the next day. The Intellectual Property Law & Diversity Symposium will bring together leading scholars and industry experts for an interactive panel discussion on intellectual property law, gender, and diversity. DEADLINE April 7  -  ACC Southern California Diversity Bar Exam Prep Course Stipend Scholarship 
The Association of Corporate Counsel, Southern California (ACC-SoCal) believes that it is incumbent upon the legal community to assist in alleviating the economic burden faced by financially-challenged minority students as each student prepares for the California Bar Exam and a future in the legal profession. To help students resolve this burden, the ACC-SoCal scholarship program pays for a limited number of California Bar Exam review courses for minority students that might have otherwise had to forgo taking such courses. A limited number of recipients shall be selected from applications received from qualified students who demonstrate high moral character and financial need.  

Eligibility is limited to full-time and part-time minority law students in the Southern California area (Counties of LA, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Riverside and San Bernardino), with financial need and who will graduate in either spring or fall of 2019.  Additional requirements are spelled out in the application. Application deadline is April 7, 2019.

USAO Central District of California, Santa Ana Branch Seeks Assistant United States Attorneys 
The United States Attorney's Office is interviewing for three AUSA in the Santa Ana Branch Office, Criminal Division. AUSAs in the Criminal Division advise federal law enforcement agents on criminal investigations, present criminal cases to the grand jury, and try criminal cases before the United States District Court. AUSAs new to the Criminal Division, including those hired for the Riverside and Santa Ana branch offices, are initially assigned to the General Crimes Section in Los Angeles, where they receive training in the handling of federal criminal investigations and prosecutions. Upon completion of their tenure in the General Crimes Section, AUSAs hired for the branch offices are assigned there, and AUSAs remaining in Los Angeles are assigned to one of the Criminal Division's senior sections. The PLC staff can answer any questions you may have related to your case to support you in your pro bono representation; locate a mentor to help you; supply you with samples and manuals (some case types excluded); provide translation support in Spanish and Vietnamese; and arrange for office space for you to meet with your client at PLC.
