Attention Early Childhood Teachers of Spanish-English Dual Language Learners!

 Join TeacherRead-MaestrosLeer!

TeacherRead-MaestrosLeer (TRML) is an exciting new shared book reading program aimed at supporting the language and literacy skills of Spanish-English Dual Language Learners (DLLs) in preschool/transitional kindergarten. The American Institutes for Research (AIR) and the University of Notre Dame are conducting a study of the TRML program, funded by the Department of Education and in partnership with the Orange County Department of Education.

Teachers who participate in the study will:

  • have access to free online professional development to support instruction;
  • build capacity in evidence-based, effective shared book reading practices;
  • receive free books and materials for their classroom; and
  • receive $300 for participating.

Click on this link to fill out a brief form to express your interest, and we will contact you soon!

We hope you will join this exciting opportunity to help support the language and literacy development of young DLLs in Orange County ☺
