OCBC Opposes "Housing Killer" Bill Expanding CEQA
|
OCBC staunchly opposes AB 1001 (Garcia), a Housing Killer bill that would have a chilling effect on new construction. Rather than reform barriers to housing, the bill expands the already burdensome California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and exposes developers to more CEQA litigation and fuels NIMBYism. Thank you to all OC Assemblymembers for not voting/abstaining on the job-killing, anti-housing AB 1001.
