EVICTION MORATORIUM COMPROMISE PASSED BY LEGISLATURE:*
  • Industry and tenant advocates have compromised to extend CA’s eviction moratorium through the end of June. Landlords cannot evict tenants who pay at least 25 percent of the rent they owe and can receive federal funds worth up to 80 percent of what they are owed if they forgive the rest of the unpaid rent. OCBC commends the passage of this deal, ensuring OC avoids displacement of renters while supporting property owners. Read more
