TURNING RED TAPE INTO RED CARPET SPOTLIGHT
CITY OF FULLERTON’S NAVIGATION CENTER:*
  • In November 2019, Fullerton took swift action to address the 2019 Orange County Point in Time homeless count by committing $500,000 to purchase and convert a 21,000 square foot vacant building. The City partnered with Illumination Foundation to transform the building into a 150-bed Navigation Center with on-site counselors to help homeless individuals find stable housing. The Center began accepting residents on August 13, 2020, and includes a medical clinic, dental office and therapy room
