  • OCBC's President and CEO, Jeff Ball recently moderated a panel discussion on Restoring the California Dream, a report authored by Joel Kotkin and Marshall Toplansky for the Chapman University Center for Demographics, which lays out the challenges faced by middle and working-class Californians. INNOVATION MEETS THE ROAD WITH SOCALGAS:
  • SoCalGas recently took delivery of 23 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (HFCEV), marking the company’s first purchase of hydrogen-powered vehicles. They plan to expand the fleet of HFCEVs to 50 next which would transition about a third of their fleet to clean fuels. Keep up the excellent work! Learn more.
UCI PROFESSOR RECEIVES HIGH HONORS FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO COVID-19 VACCINES:
  • Philip Felgner, Ph.D., professor in residence of physiology & biophysics at the University of California, Irvine, is one of seven scholars worldwide to win Spain’s prestigious Princess of Asturias Award for Technical and Scientific Research in recognition of their contributions to designing COVID-19 vaccines.
