GOVERNOR! DELAY COSTLY VMT LAW, NEXT OC SCHOOL YEAR, PACIFIC SYMPHONY AND MORE |
|
- DELAY "VMT" BILL: CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATORS. Help us and our coalition partners throughout Southern California urging Governor Newsom to delay vehicle miles traveled (VMT) regulations set to take effect July 1. The regulations would force local governments to use VMT as the environmental impact measuring tool for formulating developer fees related to transportation. This would increase the cost of housing statewide and disproportionately harm disadvantaged communities. Over 12,000 emails have been sent to elected officials asking for a two-year delay, thanks to BIA So Cal. Now make your voice heard with us! Watch this video for more information and click here to contact your legislators.
