Greetings,

During these challenging times, we appreciate your commitment and support for the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). We continue to operate in a very fluid environment and will continue to keep you updated through our website.

Our team has refocused efforts on rescheduling conventions and trade shows for the fall and winter months. For updates on our events, please visit www.occc.net/Updates . For information on the center and Orange County, visit www.occc.net/Coronavirus .

We are making a number of changes to our operations to ensure the continuity of business. In order to slow the spread of COVID-19, Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings signed an Executive Order for Orange County residents and visitors to stay at home, beginning Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 11 p.m., through Thursday, April 9, 2020 at 11 p.m.

The OCCC has implemented a temporary telework policy for the duration of the Executive Order. Additionally, we will be minimizing operations and will only have essential staff needed to ensure our facility remains safe and operational during and after the Executive Order.

As a community partner, we offered our remote parking lots to assist the region in its time of need as a COVID-19 testing collection site. Its use for this purpose will in no way negatively impact the safety and security of our employees and future guests.

I would personally like to thank each of you for your continued support of the OCCC. Please know that your patience and flexibility is appreciated during this rapidly changing situation. If you need immediate assistance, please call me or a member of the OCCC Executive Team.

After we flatten the curve, we are confident that both the OCCC and the convention industry will come back stronger than ever!

Sincerely,
Mark Tester
Executive Director
