Greetings,
With rigorous safety measures at the forefront, the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) successfully welcomed MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando, Womenswear in Nevada (WWIN) Orlando Showcase, and OFFPRICE Orlando from Feb. 9-11, in a collaborative event that addressed the fashion industry’s return to in-person experiences, while driving greater commercial opportunities and business continuity for brands and buyers.
This limited-capacity trade show provided a much-needed comprehensive physical buying event for women’s and men’s apparel, accessories, and footwear – answering the industry’s call for a trade event in the first half of 2021, following market disruption in 2020 due to the pandemic.
MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando, WWIN and OFFPRICE delivered the highest levels of hygiene and safety, providing everyone with reassurance and confidence that they participated in a safe and controlled event with extensive safety measures in place. Ensuring a safe environment, meeting organizers also required all guests and staff to produce a negative COVID-19 test in order to enter the show, in addition to temperature screenings, required face masks, physical distancing, deep cleaning, sanitization and more.
Thanks to the ongoing support, partnership and trust of our clients, we have been leading the way in hosting modified live events as we continue Meeting Safely Today for a Stronger Tomorrow. Last month, the Center safely hosted a variety of events from an industry trade show to a unique drive-thru attraction. We invite you to watch a recap of our January events, further proving the Center and Orlando’s commitment to safe meeting practices.
As always, we look forward to welcoming you back to The Center of Hospitality and hosting your event at the OCCC in the near future.
