Orlando International Airport Update
The Orlando International Airport (MCO) recently announced an increase in flights for the holiday season. The airport has added 31 flights this month and 36 more are being added for December. MCO now serves 74 domestic destinations – the largest domestic route network of all Florida airports – and has 51 percent more domestic flights and 52 percent more seats than any other airport in the state. MCO’s international route network has also expanded and now offers non-stop service to ten destinations. This ease of access, coupled with Orlando’s popularity, has seen MCO consistently ranked as one of the five busiest airports in the U.S. in recent weeks.
