Greetings,
As we look ahead to our third quarter, the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is excited to host a collection of record-breaking events. Welcoming over 754,000 attendees and generating an exciting $1.8 billion in economic impact for the region across 40 events, we are proud to reflect on the tremendous momentum generated by our guests.
These milestones underscore the OCCC’s continued role as a powerful economic engine and a trusted venue for the nation's leading events.
Highlights from the quarter include:
-
The Allstar World Championship kicked off the season with a high energy cheerleading competition, bringing an estimated 70,000 attendees to the Center and generating more than $177 million in economic impact for Orange County.
-
In May, Premiere Orlando welcomes 50,000 beauty industry leaders and professionals. This flagship event is projected to deliver nearly $127 million in economic impact while showcasing the latest tools and techniques in the beauty industry.
-
Rounding out the period, the AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships will once again serve as the Center’s largest event. Spanning June and July, it is expected to draw approximately 300,000 attendees and produce over $760 million in economic impact for the community.
The Grand Concourse Expansion remains the cornerstone initiative of the Center’s future. As of March 2026, the final guaranteed maximum price (GMP) has been approved by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners and construction is underway. Demolition of the pedestrian walkway has also begun, and Convention Way is now closed. This major project is a top priority for the OCCC and further supports the growth of Orange County’s tourism and hospitality industry. We extend our sincere appreciation to our customers, partners, staff, and stakeholders for their ongoing commitment and support. Your trust in us is what drives the Center’s momentum and growth as we move into the rest of 2026.
Sincerely,
