SUNSETTING Announcement C-21-09 Updated September 30, 2022, Reinstating and Extensions of Child Care Certification Regulation Suspensions Due to Act 73, Act 14 and Act 30


The Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) Bureaus of Early Learning Policy and Professional Development, and Bureau of Certification have released the SUNSET of Announcement C-21-09 Updated September 30, 2022, Reinstating and Extensions of Child Care Certification Regulation Suspensions Due to Act 73, Act 14 and Act 30. Effective October 31, 2022, OCDEL has reinstated a number of suspended regulations.

The Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning, Bureau of Early Learning Policy and Professional Development has released the SUNSET of the Announcement ELRC 21 #09, Child Care Works (CCW) Payment During the Ongoing Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) effective October 31, 2022. 

PPE for Child Care


The Department of Health (DOH), Department of General Services (DGS), and Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) are collaborating to right-size the current PPE stockpile for future COVID-19 and public health emergency purposes, and to ensure partners have sufficient quantities of PPE to protect against a likely fall/winter resurgence of COVID-19.


To that end, partners are encouraged to request PPE through this formThese resources are intended to support organizations for current or future COVID-19 protection, or other associated purposes (including training purposes) and are available at no cost to the recipient. Read more.
