“Now Hiring” and “Help Wanted” signs have become a permanent fixture lately as employers are struggling to find employees.

 Every industry across Orange County needs workforce. 

Orange County Economic Development Partnership saw the need and started speaking with employers to see if there was any interest in a county-wide job fair. 

The response was a resounding YES … With 33 local employers signing up to participate in the Orange County Job Fair, hosted by OCEDP on July 29th

We hosted the event at the Community Center in Paoli, which provided plenty of room for employers to speak with attendees and inform them of open positions. 

On-the-spot interviews were conducted by several companies resulting in a few attendees walking away with a new job! 

Several applicants were set up with interviews following the job fair.

We had employers from various backgrounds such as manufacturing, hospitality, restaurant, construction, health care, and so much more.

We greatly appreciate every business that sent representation and contributed to the success of our first job fair.

The local WorkOne office was able to provide an abundance of resources to attendees seeking employment opportunities or ways to acquire additional skills or training. We will be working with them to provide upcoming workshops to get job-seekers prepared for future job opportunities.
