OCHN Welcomes a New Director of Substance Use Services

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI (April 11, 2023) – Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) has selected Megan Phillips as its new Director of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services. This role manages all publicly funded SUD treatment, prevention, and recovery services in Oakland County.
 
Phillips has been with OCHN since 2016 and started in OCHN’s Access Department as an Access Screener. Prior to joining OCHN, Phillips was the Interim Clinical Manager at Community Programs Incorporated. Phillips has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Counseling Psychology, a Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
 
Phillips has over 10 years of clinical experience within the behavioral health system. She also holds numerous certifications that exemplify her expertise in the field, including a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) certification, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) certification, and a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) certification.
About OCHN
OCHN is contracted by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to lead a provider service network that assists approximately 27,000 Oakland County citizens at more than 300 service sites across the county. People who receive public behavioral health services through OCHN's provider network include those who have an intellectual or developmental disability, mental health concerns, or substance use disorder. Most of these individuals have Medicaid insurance coverage. 
 
OCHN's goal is to ensure these individuals are aware of and have access to services and supports that will improve their health and quality of life, as well as ensure their engagement in full community participation.
