Named Women of Inspiration™ Awards Finalist

Niru Prasad, MD has been selected as a Women of Inspiration™ Awards Finalists for her outstanding achievements and contributions in health, wellness and well-being to the community she serves. The Women of Inspiration™ Award recognizes the achievements of inspiring women who lead, inspire and motivate. 


Dr. Prasad has written numerous books on different health topics including childhood development and well-being, which she donated 100% of the royalties to UNICEF (a worldwide organization providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide). In addition, through her works, she also provides philanthropic advocacy to children organizations locally and in India. Dr. Prasad informs the community about proper health and lifestyle through her TV show, “Health Talk”, which airs on local cable TV.
