Presentations & Participation Stations
Presentations will be available during the day at 2 pm, 4 pm, and 6 pm.
Following each presentation, join a participation station to discuss:
- WHO should new housing support the most?
- WHERE should new housing and density be located in the community?
- WHAT should new housing look like?
- HOW should the Town be involved in housing?
Survey
A tablet will be available during the Open House to complete one of the topic surveys, and will then be available online for those unable to attend the event.
Why is the OCP Important?
The Official Community Plan, or “OCP” is the overarching plan for the Town’s future with goals, objectives, and policies specifically related to land use. With a projected demand of 2,435 new housing units in Qualicum Beach over the next 20 years, the Town’s 2025 OCP Review will focus on housing to comply with new Provincial housing regulations.
