  • Are there groups or types of households that have unmet housing needs?
  • How can housing be adaptable to what the next generation needs?

Why is the OCP Important?

The Official Community Plan, or “OCP” is the overarching plan for the Town’s future with goals, objectives, and policies specifically related to land use. With a projected demand of 2,435 new housing units in Qualicum Beach over the next 20 years, the Town’s 2025 OCP Review will focus on housing to comply with new Provincial housing regulations.
