We hope that our Hybrid/In-Person Learning Academy students had a great first week back on campus! To celebrate OCSA’s reopening, the Leadership Class has planned a Back-to-School Spirit Week for all hybrid/in-person and virtual students to enjoy. Below are the themes for each day next week.

Tuesday, March 30: OCSA Sports Day
Wear a sports jersey or athletic gear.

Wednesday, March 31: Formal Wear Wednesday
Wear your favorite fancy fit.

Thursday, April 1: Class Colors Day
7th is yellow, 8th is orange, 9th is red, 10th is purple, 11th is green, and 12th is blue.

Be sure to tag @OCSA.Leadership and @WeAreOCSA to show off your looks!
Please be reminded that there will be no school next Friday, April 2, as there is a scheduled Non-Student/Teacher Day. Spring Break will immediately follow from Monday, April 5 - Friday, April 9. Get ready to enjoy some well-earned time off!
Attention Hybrid/In-Person Learning Academy students: We would like to remind you that, in order to ease congestion at the start of each school day, OCSA has established specific entrances for each student to utilize for their daily temperature screening and hand sanitizer distribution. These entrances are based on the location of your Block 1 and Block 4 classes. Please review the assigned entrances on the Door Entrance Map for a reminder as to where you should be entering each building on Blue and Gold Days.
Calling all senior vocalists, dancers, and instrumentalists in all conservatories! Auditions are now open to be a featured performer in the Class of 2021 Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, June 10. Seniors may choose to audition for ONE discipline only. Performers must be available for the entire day of graduation.
Please submit your audition by Friday, April 16 in order to be considered for this incredible in-person performance opportunity. Click here for full details and audition instructions.
Seniors: Do you have something to say to your fellow graduates and the OCSA community? Want to help us reflect on this momentous year? Then we encourage you to submit a speech to present at graduation! If you are interested, please review the Graduation 2021 Speech Contest Flyer for full details and instructions.
All senior speeches must be uploaded to the Graduation Speech Contest Google Form by Monday, April 12. A volunteer panel of OCSA staff will anonymously read and select approximately 10 speeches to move on to the second level of review. Students will be notified by Friday, April 23 if their speech has been selected to advance to the next level.
Good luck and happy speech writing!
Attention students from all grade levels: Get your gaming chairs ready, because the Leadership Class is hosting a Minecraft Bed Wars Tournament! Please fill out this player registration form if you would like to compete. Players must be available to participate on both Friday, April 16 AND Friday, April 23 from 2-5 p.m. In order to complete your registration, join the Discord by clicking the link made available after completing the form. Sign-ups close next Thursday, April 1 at 11:59 p.m.
Through Discord, you can find more players to team up with or register your fully formed team! That's right – you do NOT need to have a fully formed team prior to beginning the registration process! Please note: Each team is allowed only ONE player who does not attend OCSA.
As previously announced, OCSA’s Annual Parent Meetings are scheduled to take place virtually this coming April. Each year, all parents/guardians are required to attend this meeting as a part of the annual enrollment process. If your child will be returning to OCSA for the 2021-2022 school year, we ask that you please confirm your attendance by Thursday, April 15. To view the available dates and times for each conservatory, and to submit your RSVP, please visit Thank you in advance for your participation.
OCSA is currently accepting nominations for the 2020-2021 Volunteer Awards! Nominees should be individuals or organizations who have demonstrated ongoing commitment to OCSA through contribution of time and/or talents, participation in fundraising events, or support in areas of special need. Nominations can be submitted by OCSA families, support group members, faculty/staff, or administrators. Don't miss this special opportunity to nominate a deserving individual or organization!
All awards will be presented during OCSA’s Virtual Season Finale on Saturday, June 5.
Click here to nominate a volunteer! The deadline to submit a nomination is Sunday, April 11. Please note, if you would like to submit multiple nominations, you will need to complete the form for each individual or organization.
Please be aware that Course Selection Presentations for the 2021-2022 school year begin on Monday, March 29 for rising 8th graders in their Social Studies classes. During this presentation, students will access the forms and video upload instructions needed to complete the course selection process in their Social Studies Google Classrooms. Course selection forms must then be completed with a parent/guardian signature and uploaded via Google Form after the presentation. Mrs. Musso, Middle School Counselor, will use the uploaded course selection forms to input classes in Aeries for rising freshmen and 8th graders. The form deadlines can be found below. Forms received after the deadline will be dated and receive less priority for classes, especially electives.
High school parents are invited to learn more about the course selection process by attending Parent Course Selection Presentations with the school counselors via Zoom. The links and Zoom information can be found below.
