VETERANS DAY

Please remember that the school will be closed next Friday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. We hope you enjoy the long weekend as we honor those who have served.

DODGEBALL APPLICATIONS DEADLINE TODAY

In last week’s Weekly Wrap, the application deadline for the dodgeball tournament was listed incorrectly; we apologize for this miscommunication. Please note that today, Friday, November 4, is the deadline to submit team applications to Leadership Advisor Chris Dion in Room T101. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up an application form in the Student Information Rack outside of Student Services, in order to set up a team of six to eight players. The tournament will be capped at 16 teams on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that only current OCSA students are eligible to participate.

Be sure to mark your calendars to come watch the epic fall dodgeball tournament after school on Friday, November 18 in The Callero Family Foundation Plaza (DMS Quad)!

INTERNATIONAL WEEK

Students, as you may have heard through Art Attack, International Week is coming up from Monday, November 14 to Friday, November 18. International Week is an opportunity for students to honor and celebrate their diverse cultures, as well as learn more about other cultures. There are many ways to share your culture, identity, ethnicity, heritage, or ancestry during the festival, such as through singing, dancing, storytelling, sharing a food item, presenting an info booth, or writing a short essay.

If you are interested in participating through a performance or showcase on 10th Street, please fill out this form by this coming Monday, November 7 at 11:59 p.m. Please note that you can choose which day(s) you would like to participate, and you are not required to participate all five days. If you would like to help curate the 10th Street playlist for the week, be sure to submit song requests in the form as well!

Additionally, if you are interested in writing a short essay or story, please submit through this form by this coming Monday, November 7 at 11:59 p.m. Your story will be shared with the OCSA student body through the OCSA Leadership Instagram.

Club Leaders: You can participate in International Week as a club, but it is not required. Whether you are participating as a club or not, please spread the word to your friends and peers!
