BATHROOM VANDALISM

Recently, the OCSA Maintenance and Custodial Staff have had to conduct frequent repairs to soap dispensers, bathroom stall doors, and fixtures in boys' bathrooms across campus; sometimes to multiple locations on the same day. Although our staff works to return these bathrooms to working order as quickly as possible, unnecessary time and resources are being spent addressing these issues. Please have a conversation with your student about respecting and taking good care of school facilities and avoiding behaviors that are in conflict with school expectations. Students are encouraged to report vandalism to the confidential OCSA Text-A-Tip number (657.529.6272).

REQUIRED: AERIES DATA UPDATE

Attention Parents/Guardians: The State of California’s School Reporting System has a new mandate that requires OCSA to accurately submit the highest level of education for every parent/guardian. We are asking for your immediate help to complete this requirement and request that you submit this information no later than Friday, October 20. Please take the time to review your Aeries account and confirm the highest level of education for each parent/guardian.

To complete this process:

  • Go to your Aeries Portal.
  • Click on “Student Info” in the menu on the left-hand side.
  • If you have previously provided the highest level of education for each parent/guardian:

  • Click on “Contacts” and please verify that the “Ed Level” is correct for each parent/guardian. If this information is correct, you are done.

  • If you have NOT previously provided the highest level of education for each parent/guardian:

  • Click on “Data Confirmation.” (Note that “Data Confirmation” will only appear as an option if you have not provided information previously.)
  • Select “Contacts.”
  • Click on the pencil icon, located to the left-hand side of each parent’s name. This will open up the contact record in order to edit.
  • Find “Ed Level” midway down on the right-hand side.
  • Use the numbered drop-down menu and select the highest level of education that best defines the parent’s educational status.
  • Click “Save” at the bottom of the page.
  • Repeat the steps above to adjust the record for “Parent/Guardian 2.”

If you have questions or need support regarding this process, please contact School Registrar Laura Ely at [email protected] or Tech Support at [email protected].
