Progress reports for the first six weeks of the fall semester are now available for review in the Aeries student/parent portal. To view your student’s progress report, click on the "Grades" tab from the left-hand menu and select "Grades" again from the drop-down menu. Progress reports can be printed under the “Report Card History” tab as well. Simply click on the blue highlighted word "English" to display the progress report for printing.

Points to remember about progress reports:

• Progress reports are a snapshot of your student’s achievement at a specific point in the semester and are not included on high school transcripts. Your student’s prospective college will not see these marks unless you provide them a copy of the progress report.
• Plus and minus marks are used on progress reports to encourage students to continue a strong effort, they are not included with semester grades.
• As a policy, grade changes are not made on progress reports unless there has been a clerical error on the part of the teacher.
• OCSA does not mail home paper copies of progress reports, so please be sure to download and print a copy for your personal use and records. 
• The Aeries portal provides 24/7 parent/student access to progress reports, unofficial transcripts, immunization records, test scores, and other important information and documentation. 

If you or your student have questions or concerns regarding your student’s grades, please do not hesitate to contact the teacher directly using their school email.

Please note that if you have never accessed the Aeries portal you may need to check with our Tech Support Team for your verification code information. They can be reached at techsupport@ocsarts.net.

High school students: This coming Monday, September 30, at 11:59 p.m. is the deadline to purchase your tickets to Homecoming! This year Homecoming will be held on Saturday, October 5 from 8 p.m.-12 a.m. at Dave & Busters at the Irvine Spectrum. Tickets are $72 and can be purchased through MySchoolBucks. Your ticket will include a game card, food, dancing, and more! See you there!

OCSA families: You are invited to join The Mekjian Family Culinary Arts & Hospitality Conservatory for their first Foodie Festival from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, October 26 in the parking lot of the Center for the Arts! Foodie Festival will feature delectable dishes created by our talented student chefs, partnering with 12 professional chefs from the community. All proceeds will benefit the Culinary Arts & Hospitality Conservatory. Come for the food and stay for the Throwdown Finale, which will take place from 6-8 p.m. in the Margaret A. Webb Theatre.

The first Dodgeball Tournament of the year will be held on Friday, October 25 from 3-5 p.m. in The Callero Family Foundation Plaza (DMS Quad). Diploma Name Verification

The deadline for Aeries diploma name verification is fast approaching! Please have your senior ensure that their name and address are correct on the Demographics page in Aeries. In addition, all seniors need to complete this name verification form by Monday, October 7.
