Ocean County Soil Conservation District offers a variety of outreach programs to the local community, including schools, scouts, garden clubs, environmental groups, and the general public. Our programs bring awareness to the importance of healthy soil and clean water, build connections to our native landscapes, and inspire stewardship of our local watershed. In July, OCSCD's Education Outreach Coordinator, Becky Laboy, teamed-up with several other conservation-focused organizations to provide healthy soil workshops. Read more about them in our Blog.

In 2024 Ocean County Soil Conservation District celebrates our 72nd year. We remain committed to building and sustaining a conservation legacy by working with our partners and constituents to conserve, protect and restore our soil, water and natural resources by providing technical assistance, implementing restoration projects, and most importantly through education.
