The Disability and Communication Access Board is pleased to announce the Basic ADA Training Sessions 1-4 will be presented by DCAB's Facility Access Specialist, Eric Isidro. The Basic ADA Training series is comprised of four sessions focused on the 2010 ADA Accessibility Guidelines for both entry level and seasoned architects, engineers, and facility managers, wanting to brush up on their ADA Accessibility Guidelines foundation.

• Chapter 8: Special Rooms, Spaces, and Elements
• 1 HSW/CEU AIA Credit

• SESSION 4 (Wed., Nov. 29, 2023, 10:00 am - 11:00 am)
• Chapter 9: Built-in Elements
• Chapter 10: Recreational Facilities
• 1 HSW/CEU AIA Credit

• EDUCATION FACILITIES (Wed., Dec. 6, 2023, 10:00 am - 11:00 am)
• Education facilities in the public and private sectors, including primary and secondary schools, vocational and trade schools, colleges, and universities.
• ADA Standards - spaces and elements in classrooms, parking, dormitories, bathrooms, and other elements.
• 1 HSW/CEU AIA Credit

• HODAAG (Wed., Dec. 13, 2023, 10:00 am - 11:00 am)
• Topics to be discussed include camping facilities, picnic facilities, viewing areas, beach access routes.
• 1 HSW/CEU AIA Credit
