2024 BASIC ADA TRAINING

(2.0 HSW/CEU AIA Credits/Session Approved)

Registration is open for the 2024 Basic ADA Training Sessions 1-4, and HODAAG Training will be presented by DCAB's Facility Access Specialist, Eric Isidro. The virtual training sessions are designed for both entry level and seasoned architects, engineers, and facility managers, wanting to brush up on their ADA Accessibility Guidelines foundation.

(Please note: The session times have increased to 2.0 hours to provide sufficient time to cover the vast amount of information, and to allow time for Q&A, as time permits.)

U.S. Access Board Seeks Public Comment

on Proposed Rule for Electric Vehicle (EV)

Charging Stations

The U.S. Access Board published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to amend the accessibility guidelines for buildings and facilities covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) for the Architectural Barriers Act of 1968 (ABA) to specifically address the accessibility of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.


Public comments for the NPRM are due by November 4, 2024.

  • At the bottom left of the check in the note/memo section include the name: Disability and Communication Access Board or DCAB
  • Print a copy of DCAB's document review invoice request sent via email
  • Mail check and copy of the invoice to:
