Cross-provincial partnership aims to reduce GHG emissions
At an event in Edmonton today, Premier Rachel Notley and Premier Kathleen Wynne announced the signing of an agreement between Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) and Climate Change and Emissions Management Corp. (CCEMC) to focus on the strengths of both provinces to accelerate solutions that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
A Discovery to Remember: 'the momentum and energy was inspiring' 

More than 3,200 attendees and over 500 exhibitors from across the province took part in this year's Discovery, Canada's premier conference and trade show, on May 9 and 10. But the celebration and impulse towards innovation in Ontario cannot be confined to two days.

Ontario's $74 million greenhouse gas innovation initiative, managed by OCE, has two new federal partners - Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) and Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) - to assist in the battle to reduce pollution-causing emissions.
