ODOC Funding Opportunity For Municipalities

Deadline June 5th

OML has been contacted by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce (ODOC) regarding a funding opportunity for municipalities. The deadline to submit the initial concept paper is June 5th. We realize this is a very tight turnaround for anyone interested in applying. Due to the short time to submit your application, the ODOC would ask that anyone interested contact them directly at community@hq.doe.gov with any questions.

The EECBG Competitive Program will award $8.8 million in funding to cities, counties, towns, municipalities, state-recognized tribes – and teams of these communities – to lower energy costs, reduce carbon emissions, improve energy efficiency, and reduce overall energy use. The EECBG Competitive grant is a flexible program with the opportunity to receive $200,000 - $2,000,000 in funds to advance local clean energy goals. The EECBG Competitive grant application/concept papers are due June 5th.  If you would like to partner with another entity, states, non-profit organizations, quasi-governmental organizations, and private companies can all participate on EECBG Competitive teams as a part of the team, or "sub-recipients."
