Happy New Year! I hope that you and your families had a wonderful holiday season and that 2021 brings us back to the sense of normalcy we are all waiting for.
I am happy to report that we had a great start to dues collection for 2021. If you have not paid yet, please provide payment promptly to remain a member in good standing.
Invoices will go out one last time for this year, both electronically and by mail. If you are ever unsure of the authenticity of an email from OESP, please contact Association HQ to inquire. We are happy to check for you, verifying before you click. If you have an issue retrieving your invoice, please let us know and we will resend it.
Corporate Members: many of you have already recommitted your support for 2021. You will continue to see your corporate name displayed prominently in issues of the OESP News, like this edition, and in the print issues as well. And don’t forget to check out your promotional sign at the EEE. We thank you for your continued support.
It is companies like these that provide speakers for chapter meetings, donate generously to Oil Heat Cares and serve on local chapter boards around our region. The next time you are looking to do business, check our list of corporate members and consider supporting them to thank them for their involvement in OESP.
And speaking of supporters, we would like to express our appreciation to our loyal and generous advertisers for their continued support this upcoming year, now the fifth year of the OESP News. They are: Beckett, Taco, Suntec Industries, Carlin/Hydrolevel, Weil McLain, General Filters, Roth, Wohler, and Sid Harvey. We are also proud to welcome Energy Kinetics as an annual sponsor in 2021! You’ll see a warm welcome for them in the February print issue of the OESP News.
Not on this list? Your company could be in the next issue of this widely-read newsletter. Contact us to find out how.
Do you have a friend or colleague that would benefit from membership in OESP? Bring them along to a meeting in early 2021, whether it’s in person or virtual. This is our busy heating season, but it is also the season that training is more important than ever. Our mission is education; we are always looking to grow our great association and educate the next generation.
OESP is always seeking new and engaged members who are interested in making a lasting difference in their career and this great association. One of the ways is by providing networking opportunities to help grow your business.
Everyone wants to work with people they know and trust, so get involved in your local chapter and experience the difference it will make for you. Please contact Association HQ or your local chapter president to learn how you can make a bigger difference in 2021.
The Spring BOD meeting for 2021 will be held on Saturday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m., virtually out of an abundance of caution for our members and guests as the coronavirus pandemic continues to rage. Of course, with news of the vaccine’s arrival in the U.S., we are all hoping that this will be behind us soon, and we will be able to meet in person later this year.
We are counting down the days until the Eastern Energy Expo Education Summit & Marketplace to take place May 24-26, 2021. Once again, this will be a virtual event offering three days of live business and technical training online as well as a Marketplace for companies to display their products and services for attendees.
