Oil Heat Cares Helps in Pennsylvania
Kate Duffey and Jackie Rogers (Mrs. Ott's daughter)
Joann Ott of West Chester, Pennsylvania was appreciative to have a warm home this holiday season. She is the latest recipient of the generosity of Oil Heat Cares (OHC), through the Delaware Valley Chapter of OESP.

Ms. Ott, 86 years old, lives on a fixed income, suffers with COPD and heart ailments and was recently released from the hospital to find that the oil tank, original to the 1960 home, needed to be replaced.

Tank and pipe, fittings were all generously donated by F. W. Webb in Allentown, PA. Work was performed by D.E. Duffy and Sons and Wackenhut.

Lehigh Valley Chapter
Ten members of the Lehigh Valley Chapter braved the colder temperatures to attend the Chapter’s December Training Meeting at Copperhead Grille. Three additional members attended via Zoom – it was a great hybrid meeting!

Joe Kuklis of Progressive Sales Management provided the training on Water Quality and the opportunities for dealers to treat domestic water. He provided an in depth look at the testing and water filtration / softening system available and how dealers can diversify their business by offering the value-added service to customers and prospects.

Garden State Chapter
The Garden State Chapter held its December meeting at its favorite haunt: Libretti’s Restaurant in Orange. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food and an informative presentation by Bruce Graham of Carlin/Hydrolevel on the new Hydrostat IC Control for atmospheric & induced draft gas boilers. In addition, Bruce led a holiday sing-along of Christmas hits with several members joining him at the microphone to sing along.

In keeping with the holiday spirit, the Chapter held its annual fundraiser for Toys For Tots and as usual, members stepped forward with generous donations of toys and cash to provide much needed cheer for many deserving children.
Although this year Team Connecticut could not be at the meeting in person, the Chapter still generously donated $1,000 to support Garden State’s charity drive.

"Santa Paul" Cuprewich spearheaded the drive and purchased not only toys with the funds but coats as well! The toys and coats were donated to Living Water Christian Center Church and to New Visions Baptist Church, both in East Orange, NJ.
