OFCHC Global Spotlight April 10, 2026 | | |
A NOTE FROM YOUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
I'm thrilled to join you as Executive Director of the Ohio Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Coalition.
Ohio's fuel cell and hydrogen sector has something most states don't — real companies, technology, and momentum. I'm here to carry that work forward — into a decade where the opportunities for this industry are real, the stakes are high, and a strong coalition has never mattered more.
My background spans chemical engineering, clean energy startups, and nonprofit leadership, and I come to this role driven by the same conviction I imagine drives your work: that Ohio is positioned to lead in the fuel cell and hydrogen economy.
Here's what I'm focused on in the months ahead:
Listen I'll conduct a structured Listening Tour to hear directly from members about what's working, what's missing, and what you need most from this Coalition.
Convene I'll represent the Coalition at industry events, strengthen our own gatherings, and create new opportunities for members to connect with each other throughout the year.
Connect I'll strengthen ties among members and bridge the Coalition more intentionally to the broader ecosystem — including policymakers, funders, and partners who can amplify our collective voice.
At its best, OFCHC is a community, a resource hub, and an advocate for this industry. I'm committed to building all three — and I look forward to meeting each of you soon.

Jing Lyon
