What's Happening
January, 2020 Edition
From Our Executive Director, Mary Schmidt
New Year, New Experiences!
Also a new monthly eLetter . . . and new Executive Director, yours truly.
Bob Allen, our former ED, retired in December to focus on his health. (He's doing fine and will be an OC volunteer.) I've found  my center at OFFCenter, fulfilling my personal mission to "make a difference and have fun doing it!"  I welcome your ideas about OC, so drop me a line or come by for conversation and a cup of coffee!

In 2020, we'll continue 2019's momentum, including: mini-fests at the Downtown Growers' Market; partnering with other "down downtown" groups and businesses; more artist support programs; and unusual First Friday experiences. Check out our next First Friday experience on February 7, featuring the Refugee Blanket (and textile art) exhibition, "Wrapped in Love."

And, I hope we can return to being open on Tuesdays. We're raising  funds to make that possible, which brings me to . . .

A big Thank You for your wonderfully generous support during 2019. We're passionate about our work here at OC; alas, we can't pay bills with happy vibes.

You can set up an automatic monthly donation in about 30 seconds!

IndigePopX
March 25-29, 2020 IndigiPopX

We'll be at IndigiPopX with something for everyone in the family. We're in the planning stage. Details coming soon.

Our collaboration began when folks started talking about getting all  Indigenous pop-culture groups together to celebrate and validate everyone's work.  Native Realities Publishing made it happen and the rest is (or will be) history.  Read More here.

Our full calendar of workshops and events is always available online.  Workshops and events are also announced on Facebook.
