Keeping our Trucks Clean and Safe | |

As a reminder, we need continued help and support from our customers to ensure we can deliver safely to all.
On some multi-stop shipments, excess and non-reusable dunnage is being left on the trailer, resulting in safety hazards when unloading at subsequent stops. Team members have to work around and step over discarded dunnage material, creating a hazard. In addition to being a safety concern, this type of condition often results in damaged products.
Please do your part and remove all dunnage from the trailer that has served its purpose and is no longer required.

ODC Salinas™ Successful Project- MBARI

|
Overhead Door Company of Salinas™ recently completed a remarkable project where the team successfully installed a massive 16’x20’ 625 series insulated stainless-steel rolling steel door with an RHX 3HP operator. This challenging task took place at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) in Moss Landing, California, situated right on the saltwater. The newly installed door was to be used in their tank room, a crucial facility where they test and maintain their submersible drones and research equipment.
In the words of the installation team, "It was a challenging install due to the size and weight of the door. We had multiple crews come together to work as a team to remove the existing door and install the new door on the same day. We had to complete the installation in a single day due to the sensitive equipment stored inside the space and the harsh outside environment with the opening being so close to the ocean. This new installation has allowed MBARI to freely operate the door to move their submersible drones in and out of their testing facility without worry of failure like the previously installed product."

A Tribute to Al Parmely - Legacy of Loyalty

Al's life was a testament to unwavering dedication. Hailing from a ranching family, he embarked on a journey of hard work and service. In 1968, alongside Arlene, he founded Al's Window and Home Repair, expanding into the Overhead Door Company of Casper and Riverton Lander™. Al's legacy extended beyond his business endeavors as he generously devoted his time and talents to community service. Al was inducted into the very 1st class of the Lions Wyoming Hall of Fame in 2017. He has received four International President Awards and is a 10 time Progressive Melvin Jones He Fellow.
He will be missed by so many and the family will carry on the Parmely legacy and tradition

- Drawings can be requested not only from quotes, but from Open status orders.
- Quotes/Orders can be setup to default architect and contractor information, in addition to defaulting supported automation to Yes.
