If you have questions regarding Experience and Capacity Standards and the process to apply, email the 4percentcomments@ohiohome.org.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Did the Experience and Capacity Approval we received for the 9% round allow us to submit for 4% projects this year, or will we need to submit under this new Experience and Capacity program?

A: You will notice in the 4% LIHTC QAP, it does state, "In 2025, if previously approved for 9% LIHTC, the entity must submit their approval letter, and additional information may be required to ensure compliance with Experience and Capacity Standards." Therefore, OHFA will have the entity submit the Experience and Capacity Workbook with your approval letter. Then, if anything additional is necessary, OHFA staff reach out. However, since all the items detailed in the Experience and Capacity Standards to be submitted with the workbook would've likely been included in your 9% LIHTC submission two months ago, we'll already have them on file.
