I know each time I send out an OHLQ Insiders Bulletin, you open it hoping for one thing: the announcement of the 2018 Ohio Bottle Lottery. Well, wait no longer because the time is now!

The lottery begins at 12:01 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10 and runs through 11:59 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21.

Here's the most exciting news: the lottery includes both the Pappy Van Winkle collection and the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.

Now, let me sweeten this announcement a little more: you can enter both lotteries with one submission and have a chance to win a product from both collections! When you enter at www.com.ohio.gov/liqr/BottleLottery , you can choose to enter either lottery or both.

Another change from last year is that you don't have to have a paper ticket to enter. You can simply go to the website above and enter after the lottery begins. However, if your preference is to still get a paper ticket, we have you covered; all of our Contract Liquor Agencies will have the tickets as well. Neither one is weighted more than the other and you still have the same shot to win, we are just giving you options to enter. After submission, all entrants will receive a six digit ticket number.

Regardless of how you choose to enter, you have 12 days to enter. No need to flood the website right at 12:01 a.m. on Dec. 10.

You can read more about the lottery below. Feel free to share this with your friends and encourage them to subscribe for future updates.

Please enjoy these products responsibly. The holiday season is upon us, and our first priority is your safety.

Cheers!
