Congratulations To Our Newest Board Members
Hello Optimist,

I am happy to announce the Optimist International Foundation has completed the election for new Board Members, who will start their terms Oct. 1, 2023.
Deanna Morrow, GATEway, was elected as the at-large Member. She will begin a four-year term in October.

Deanna brings a wide range of Optimist experience, and we look forward to her joining the Board. She has served in many Optimist roles during her tenure, including OI Vice President, Governor, DFR and many others, and she currently serves as the Learning and Development chair.
Ken Garner, North Texas, was selected as the OI past President representative to the OIF Board. He will also begin his term in October.

Ken served as OI President in 2014-15 and has held a wide variety of Optimist roles in the past, including President, Vice President, Governor, DFR and many (many) more. We look forward to all he will bring in the future.
